Inspirations from New York Fashion Week #NYFW
Today we are 20 days away from Bridal Fashion Week. Our designers are finishing up their Fall 2015 Collection, hosting casting calls for models, and coordinating their fashion shows. Just two weeks ago New York hosted fashion week. The evening wear and ready to wear collections are a sneak peek of what we will see in the world of bridal. Pantone released their Spring 2015 color report with colors such as scuba blue and strawberry ice. I’m sure its just a matter of time before bridesmaid dresses are following the ethereal, eclectic trend of fabrics and colors. BCBG’s runway presentation shown above represents the trending color pallets for next year. We hope this is a little teaser on what to expect in bridal.

Trend: Do you dare to go GOLD?
Move over blush, gold is here! Colorful wedding dresses have been a popular trend for the past decade. Gold is the latest color trend in bridal. If you are on the hunt for a gold dress, look at lines that carry bridal and evening wear like Theia Couture. Due to the designer’s Celtic heritage, Theia has stood on top of the gold trend.
I’m thinking roof top New Year’s wedding for this one! What kind of wedding do you see?
Trend: Wedding Dress Backs
Here are some of my favorite backs from Rivini’s new Fall 2014 collection. While the front of the dress important, the back is where you get to make your statement! There is a way to be sexy and bridal. By doing a low back with a more conservative front, you can accomplish just that!
Trend Spotting: Muted Bridesmaid Dresses
We are on our way into Fall, yet we still see this delicate trend of mutes bridesmaid dresses. Amsale is an industry leader when it comes to current bridesmaid dress colors. We are loving the mixture of these soft shades
Life’s too short to wear boring clothes.
All a Gasp for The Great Gatsby
It takes a royal wedding or a groundbreaking movie to shift wedding trends. While, Kate Middleton is still inspiring brides to look classy and sophisticated in lace, The Great Gatsby allows the risk-taker bride to express her alluring, bold personality.
Expect dramatic necklines, beaded sheaths, and headbands to be a new signature in bridal fashion. I recommend wearing Maria Elena or Jenny Packham for a Roaring 20s accessories look. This hot new trend is timeless and can be appreciated by generations.

A White Honeymoon
Wearing white on your honeymoon isn’t a new trend, but having a full on white or ivory wardrobe definitely is. Your fiance (husband then) will have a new found appreciation for the color. So you might as well soak up the sun with a pair of new white shades and a little white bikini. Here are few of my favorite pieces including a lacey lingerie top from Hanky Panky!
