Brides to be! Andi here, from www.andimans.com! So, congrats first of all, you are engaged, what an exciting time! So many fun things ahead to plans and brainstorm, but first, let’s shout out and share to the world your engagements…but some fabulous photos! One of the most frequent questions I received from my brides when prepping for an engagement sessions is “Andi what do I wear, anything I shouldn’t, is there a color a should stay away from, should we match” etc! As I explain in my AM Sessions video, it’s important to go a little bit out of your way on your engagement shoot, what I mean is, DRESS UP! I suggest two outfits, a casual/fun outfit that represents your everyday style but dazzled up a bit and a more glam look, not a formal dress ladies, I mean something feminine and sweet like a long maxi dress, sun dress, something flowy always looks amazing in photos, the breeze may hit it perfect in the wind or it’s fun to play with too, adding motion and expression in your photos. If you are taking your photos in natural light outside, stay away from green, we want to see you in the photos and not have you camouflaged :) Too bold and matchy matchy could be too much as well, we want you to stay consistent in outfits but you don’t have to look like twinsies, days of the white tops and blue jeans at the beach are over! All around, have fun with going shopping for fun style that represents you, hire a professional makeup/hair person, remember to accessorize and HAVE FUN!

Casual Styled Shoot Featured on Style Me Pretty
Not into Pouf? We hear it all the time. So many of our brides call in requesting a casual, romantic dress far from the princess “pouf”. We jumped all over the opportunity to work with Andi Mans and Simone of Makeover Station to showcase a more outdoorsy, relaxed look. The model, Kris, was styled by Roberta. Blooms by Freshly Picked.
Styled Shoot: Chalk Shop & Blooming Garden Bridal
One of our favorite photographers, Andi Mans, asked us to come on board for a styled shoot. The shoot concept is to show off these amazing custom chalk boards from Chalk Shop. For the fashion component, Roberta brought along our Rivini dress to carry out the soft, natural garden feel of the shoot.

Project Bridal Style
Hello lovely fans! Today marks the start of a stylish little competition called Project Bridal Style! We have partnered with Imprint Cinema to show you behind the scenes of four SB Stylists competing on a photo shoot competition to win the first Project Bridal Style!
Using one of their real brides as a model and their favorite area vendors, four distinct concepts were created. Here is an intro to the whole competition. Stay tuned as we upload the four photo shoot videos onto our facebook and pinterest pages. We will need your “repin” vote or your “share vote to see which one was your favorite.

Drowning In All American Love
You may recognize this model as our bride that appeared in our Country Engagement Session feature. She is our real bride, Savannah Shaine Kolacek, getting married this December. Oh and yes, we will be sharing her wedding photos here! The photographer, Andi Mans, will be in our salon this Sunday for a segment on the hunt for the most unique wedding gown.
Using their own 52 acre Florida landscape as a backdrop, Savannah & Robert showcased their adorable personalities to perfection in this cute engagement shoot. From 4 Wheeling, playing with the pup, and ending with a little fun in the mud with Savannah’s maid of honor and little sister Kate, I just love how this shoot manages cute and chic all in one.
