Real Weddings: Anne Barge Bride

Amy and Joe were married on St. Simons Island in Georgia this past January. This bride looked nothing short of spectacular!

Amy wore “Victoire” by Anne Barge. This dress is a trumpet silhouette of French Alencon lace over silk organza. The gown’s bateau neckline is trimmed in scalloped lace and the low sheer back is finished with button closures.

Amy graced the aisle of Wesley United Methodist Church in her elegant gown, and the couple is off to a wonderful start of their happy life together!

Style: Anne Barge Fall 2013 Bridal Collection

Anne just received her new ad campaign for the latest collection. In early March we will be hosting an Anne Barge Trunk Show in Orlando. I’ve had the great honor of meeting Anne on several occasions. All five feet of her are filled with love and excitement of celebration. She is really a Southern, couture lady that has made a name for herself globally. We are so looking forward to seeing our real brides in these dresses, but for now we will enjoy this alluring photo shoot!

Trend Spotting at Bridal Fashion Week

Last week we were up in NY working hands on with designers to pick our new 2013 Collection. These dresses won’t be available in stores until March, but I’ll share five trends I found on my trip with ya now!

1. Color! And lots of it. While there will still be white and ivory options available, most samples will be shown in blush tones.

2. Step away strapless. Out of all the dresses we are purchasing there are only two dresses coming in that are strapless.

3. Brocade Lace. With the popularity of lace, its nice to see different texture options so not everyone is wearing the same thing.

4. Low backs with beaded detail. Drama in the back! Expect to see tons of options

5. Short Knee-Length Options. This could be used for reception dress or for the girl that doesn’t want long.

Just in case you were wondering who designed the dresses featured… Ines Di Santo on top. Badgley Mischka and Anne Barge on the bottom. Which on is your fav?

A Dreamy 3 Minutes…

One of our blog obsessions, Style Me Pretty, featured a lovely Charleston wedding with a bride in our Anne Barge gown. While the photos are all stunning and southern, the wedding trailer is splendid! Its a well worth the three watch. I thin Katherine Heigl could learn a couple of pointers from this bride.

Kudos to Timm Young Films!
