Lauren Lauren… A True American Royal Wedding
Lauren Bush, super model and granddaughter of President George H.W. Bush married David Lauren, youngest son of designer Ralph Lauren on September 3. The two tied the knot at the family’s double RL ranch in Colorado. The wedding had a western-theme.
The bride’s amazing gown was designed by Ralph Lauren himself. The tulle, lace, and crystal gown took over 3,000 hours to make and 100 craftspeople hand embroidering pearls, small flower motifs and Renaissance era scroll designs in ivory silk and metallic thread. To go with the elegant-rustic theme the bride wore cowboy boots under her gown.
Her veil was old, her dress was new, her earrings were borrowed and her socks were blue!
